I have never ever, ever shopped on Black Friday...that is until today! That's right, I went to Wal-Mart at 11:30 tonight to shop. I was expecting a lot worse. I thought I would get in a fight or break someone's ankles. But I didn't. Yes it was packed and a little annoying at times, but once everyone got their items, it calmed down and we could browse the aisles and get what we wanted. Now I'm sitting in line, actually have been for the past hour and still have 2 more to go. I would tell you what I'm waiting for, but I don't want Andersen to read this and spoil his Christmas present ;) But let's just say by the time this all said and done, I will have been awake for 24 hours. I think the last time I've been up this long, I was partying hard core. But Wal-Mart has provided some fine entertainment...women wearing matching Santa Claus pj's...a guy walking around with an open Bud Light can in his hand, and a woman walking around without shoes on. This has been an experience in itself. So much so, I might do it again next year!
