Happy Birthday...

Happy Belated Birthday Andersen! I know I'm a couple of days late, but it's been crazy busy so I'm sorry for the late post, but your birthday was not forgotten! I don't know where to begin. You're 4 years old! Where and how did the time go??? Seriously! I cannot stand you getting older...makes my heart break into a million pieces! But like I always tell you, you will ALWAYS be my baby. And you always seem to agree. And I hope you always will. Lately I've been joking around with you that you're going to sit in time out for growing up. You think it's hilarious and laugh so hard and tell me no... Once again I took off of work to spend the day with you...it was yet another wonderful day. We went to Bob Evans for pancakes. Not only is that your favorite place to eat, but the pancakes are your most favorite thing ever...next to sports. You were incredibly good and ate pretty much everything off your plate and including some off of mine...Then we went and stopped at daddy's work so he could see you and take you inside so everyone could see your cool cast. And since we were in the area, we stopped at Boonshoft museum. You LOVED it. You were running around like a mad man having fun. I did have to remind you a couple of times to slow down and watch where you're going b/c you've learned that your cast is a weapon rather than an injury. We left there around lunch and went home and played for a bit before our nap time. Yes, OUR nap time. Mommy loves taking a nap with you and we did just that. It's always been something I love doing with you. I don't care about house work, or other things that need to be done. I like snuggling with you and watching you sleep. After lunch you wanted to go to the park, so off we went. I rode my bike with you on the back...yes I bought you a new bike for your birthday, but w/ your cast you cannot ride it. So I hauled 35 lbs of blonde hair, blue eye perfection. Then after the park we rode around for a bit because you absolutely love bike rides. Soon after we got home we went to dinner with Kip and Corey and once again you were good. We started and ended the day on a good note and a smile and I couldn't have wanted anything else for you. You are growing up way too fast. You are an amazing kid with a heart of gold. You are very sensitive and loving. Yet very wild, rambunctious, tempermental, stubborn and strong willed. You love to give hugs and kisses and remind me that you love me. You even love just cuddling up on my lap and just relaxing. But you also go at 70 mph and don't stop talking, walking, running, playing. You're still pretty big into sports. Especially baseball. You love the movie Sandlot and Sandlot 2 and even have some of the lines memorized. A lot of the times you will be in your car seat and reciting the lines. I ask what you're talking about(even though I'm smiling in the front seat knowing exactly what you're saying) and you say "Nothing mom, just talking about Sandlot". You are a lover of animals. Especially dogs. Even though it was dogs who knocked you over and broke your arm, you're still incredibly loving with them. Now Kip and Corey have Suki, everyday you say "Mom, look, Suki loves me" or you carry out a conversation with her saying how much you missed her. You start preschool in a couple of weeks and I'm really, really, really sad. I wonder if you'll be bossy, or listen, or be friendly, or if you're going to talk the teacher's ear off. No matter how you act, I know your personality will shine through. I'm excited for you to meet new friends and to learn even more than you do now. Your father and I are so proud of you. And we love you very much. We both care about you and want nothing but the best. You are my baby...always and forever.
