My little Blue Jay

This year we signed Andersen up for T-ball. And let me tell you, we have never laughed so hard before. Andersen was well known for his comical antics by everyone. It was never a dull moment with him on the field or at bat!
My sister Emily got him hooked on the movie Sandlot. The kid is mildly obsessed with it. So when he would play catcher, he would put the ball on the Tee and every time the kid would come up to bat he would say "Keep your eye on the ball"...or when he hit the ball off the Tee he couldn't run to first base without looking at the crowd with an ear to ear grin and giving everyone a thumb's up.
He started off the season by playing in the dirt and laying on the ground b/c the ball wouldn't come to him and he would still have his pouting moments...but those soon passed and were replaced with "Ohh yeah" scream and throw his fists in the air every time he made a base.
Sometimes he would 'slide' into the bases, and refused to shake the other teams hands, or would cry b/c he wanted the ball...but over all, he did Great!
We have since signed him up for flag football and I cannot wait to see how that goes.
