Your Birthday...

Today was your day, so I decided to take off of work and spend it with you.

But boy if I only knew what I got myself into, I probably would have opted to work!-ok not really, I promise to take your birthday off every year even if they are just as crazy as this one.

You decided that you wanted to start the day off with a bang and wake up at 6:15. I mean, why would you want to sleep in on your birthday? Unfortunately for me, you got up on the wrong side of the bed. Whining, not happy, didn't want to be held-but also you didn't want down...I knew then it was going to be a long day....

So by 9:45 I laid you down for your nap...

Less than an hour later, you woke up crying (yet another sign of what was to come)...

I thought you are suppose to get present for your birthday, however you felt it necessary to leave me one...a naked boy (remember I said he knew how to take off his diaper?) you also decided it was the perfect spot to go number 1 and number 2...and you also decided it was the pefect opportunity to put your hands in the poop! So I scooped you up and put in you the bath...

So it was almost lunch time, so we called daddy at work and asked if he wanted to join us...we went to your favorite place, McD's and you were an angel. You ate your entire meal and didn't try to get up until we were ready to leave.

What is something else you would like to do? None other than go to the park. You love it there. This particular park has a play set for children and another set for older kids. Of course Andersen can't play on the children's part, I mean hello he is 2 for goodness sake...

When we left, I had opened the windows to the car to let some air in and while I was driving you found it necessary to throw your shoe out of the car window! This kid has an arm on him, trust me. Luckily you had bad aim with your 2nd shoe....and thank goodness I was able to go back and get the other one.

Finally we come home and I give you cookie and let you drink water our of a big kid cup and you just had to end your day by wiping your mouth on your shirt...

He definitely keeps me on my toes...there is never a dull moment with Andersen
