I never did understand why mom's got together with their friend's and had "play dates" with their children who weren't able to "play". Well now that I'm a mom, I'm am embarrassed to say that I am that mom! I get together once a month with two other girls I work with and their son's and have play dates! The kids just fuss and roll around on the ground and steal toys from each other, well not Oz, he's a little slow. But we have fun and talk about their milestones and sometimes we talk about work. But all in all, it's nice to get out and spend some quality time with the boys.

Then shouldn't you call it a "roll around on the floor date?"
When we were little our mothers confined us to sweaty, vinyl car seats for pictures and playdates at grandmas. Kids today are so lucky!
