This was the best 5K ever! Basically you wear white head to toe-the more white, the more color you will get. During the race there were four different color stations and the volunteers would pour, throw, or dump colored chalk on you. And if you didn't think you had enough, you could roll on the ground or even scoop up a handful of the powder from the ground and throw it on yourself.
At the end of the race you were covered in head to toe color! Lemme just say, I am not a runner!! But the energy of everyone, from the volunteers, to other runners, music, and even my friends, I ran all but 10-15 minutes of the 3.1 miles! My running might be as fast as a speed walker, but still, I did it and I'm proud of myself!!
