I love it when I'm in a good mood and Andersen is in an equally good mood. It makes for a great day and good memories.
We started the day off with swimming lessons. I was so proud if him. He's learning to trust that the noodle will keep him up and doesn't need to latch onto me. Then we went to Bounce U for his first ever classmate's birthday party! It was so much fun. I actually got to talk to some of the parents instead of the normal "in passing" Hi we exchange at the morning drop off.
So then at the last minute I decided Andersen and I were going to have a pizza party and camp out in the living room. We ate dinner and gathered all the blankets and sleeping bags we had and built a fort. Then I set up my computer and we watched Despicable Me. Even my brothers dog came under the covers and joined us.
The best part of the whole night was when Andersen came up to me and squeezed me tight around my neck and said "Mom this is the best sleepover ever.". I live for those moments. He reminds me that even though I may put him in time out or if I get frustrated that it's the small things in life that make the most impact.
