Bit the bullet

Bought a "new" car! And I did it all on my own. Researched cars for 6 months, spoke to different lenders, and spoke to a junk yard about what my car would be worth. I am proud of myself.
My old car was 14 years old. I had owned it for 7 of those years. It was a great car, other than the gas mileage. It never had major issues until recently. It was literally falling apart and was unsafe to drive. With all of the work that needed done, it just wasn't worth the time or energy to get it fixed.
I purchased a GMC Terrain. And I love it! No more embarrassing loud noises while it idles, no more opening my door to get fast food, go to the pharmacy, or to talk to someone. No more random noises from the turn signal and no more static from the only speaker that was working. But trust me, there was a lot more wrong with it...
I got a great deal and feel proud that I purchased it myself. And proud that I saved up my money for a down payment.
