Just because

So I follow Kelly's blog and today she is talking about baby names. If you know me, I have loved baby names and get excited to think about the endless possibilities. And maybe a long time ago when I was a teenager I might have possibly bought a small baby name book...but I can't exactly remember. Anyways, when it came time to name our little man, Kevin and I really like the name Landon. However, it was growing in popularity...which we didn't want. And for some good reason, Kevin mentioned the name Anderson. (no not after Anderson Cooper or Anderson Silva). I loved it! But I wanted to change the spelling. So his name is Andersen. Which by the way everyone spells incorrectly. But I actually don't mind correcting them, b/c it's unique and it strikes up conversation. In regards to a middle name we didn't have one. Kevin and I are both Ohio State fans and thought about some kind of connection to that. Finally after I thought about it, I thought we could name him after the legendary Woody Hayes. Kevin loved it and we were set! Andersen Hayes... Different, unique, completely his own, powerful, strong....all of which Andersen is.
